Opinions on background

Hi all!

I’m currently in the middle of writing my next story and the main character lives in a manor, so I’ve naturally made the inside look quite luxurious.

The theme of the home is mostly white, ivory, cream, etc. When I went to write my next scene which takes place in the kitchen, I needed to find a background that went with the theme of the home. I generally like the background Episode already provides, which is INT. KITCHEN CLASSIC LUXURY - DAY, as pictured below:

Unfortunately, because it’s so green and dark, it meant that even though the idea of it is what I’d like - the colours are not. So, I decided to redesign it:

I’ve not finished it, I need to clean up lines and maybe make the green trim along the single cupboard brighter - I wanted to sneak in a little bit of green. EDIT: I used Adobe Firefly to redo the layout and I’m just neatening up the rough parts. I did the floor and marble walls/counters myself and I’m outlining to make the background look more “Episode” like.

What’s your thoughts? Does it feel luxurious, but also homely? (That is my end goal).

Thank you!

Perhaps you could only change the colours instead of redoing it if you wish to keep the style?

No, you’re completely fine and I appreciate the background, it’s beautiful.
I wanted to give redoing the background a go to see how it would turn out, I’ve still not finished it though

Alright, I don’t like what AI gave me to work with.
Decided I’ll just redo it all myself using Gimp. (Free editing software, similar to Photoshop).
Not quite finished and going to play with different colour schemes, but I think this version is much better:

(I still find the background posted above lovely btw!)
