Opinions on story trailer

Hello !!

As a new want-to-be writer, I would like to ask some of y’alls opinions on story trailers or teasers.

  1. Do you usually watch story trailer first, before read the story?
  2. What kind of trailer are you prefer? Video or as image (teaser)?
  3. For writers, have you ever tried use trailer to promote your story? Is it effective?

For me, honestly I would prefer video over images and yes I LOVE trailers! What about you?
By the way, I’ve actually already finished edit a trailer video for my upcoming story and also some teasers. :laughing: :laughing: Would you like to watch it?

I don’t mind both

Yes, and no. It’s effective for some but it wasn’t for me. I made a 40-second sneak peek for my story, Squad: One Chance, (shameless promo) but it only got 34 views.

I just watched your trailer! It looks awesome :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
How was your squad contest? Are you able to finish up your story?
Btw, thank you for your opinions. I also thought trailers might be effective to more bigger author.

Thank you so much! I’m still working on the story, but I’m currently focusing more on my Reveal entry.
