I agree with @GRH and @Matawrites also prove your parents wrong that you can do this writer is your passionate you deserve to make money on it even though episode will take longer I believe it’s worth it at the end.
Not everyone wants be those careers…

Let this keep motivated you more I mean I know their being negative about you wanting to be an writing you got keep going be determined who cares what they think they don’t control your life or your decision they can’t decide your future only you can. Let the negative be the motivation yes there not supportful but don’t let it stop you watch when you make it big. It will happen
