Excuse me, but I was wondering as a new writer to Episode (though a long time reader) is it okay not to have romance in a story? I guess what I really mean is would it be weird? From my perspective a majority of episode Stories have it. Will I be alienating a large percentage of Episode users if I don’t include it? It just doesn’t seem to have a place in my story and I don’t want it to be forced or unnatural.

It really depends on your story plot. I have one story with absolutely no romantic options at all, but it’s a mystery and highly interactive. It’s still not as popular as my comedy story that has several love interests, but it still goes alright

In my opinion, no romance is totally fine. Of course, if I don’t like the plot, I won’t read the story- but that goes for all, not just stories with no romance.
Target audience of Episode loves romance. Sorry to say if no romance = not popular. Speaking from experience…
ofcourse its your story. a lot of people love romance. but a lot is also tired of it. as long you dont break guidelines. you can make the story the way you want
