I don’t really think there’s a set style. My school art instructor wore cardigans, tank tops and jeans to class. Another one wore button up shirts, pencil skirts and blazers. 
My final art instructor dressed like she time-portal’d her way out of the 1970s lol
They all had the same motto though " put on an apron or come in clothes you don’t mind ruined". So most everyone wore aprons or brought oversized shirts to protect their clothes.
art teachers should mostly have a style for their personality in your story. If they’re fun, creative, colorful give them colorful outfits if they’re serious, etc give them modest looks🤔
