HOW TO: Move Characters / Overlays to the Layers

Moving to the layers means something or someone can be in front or behind character or overlay. You can use as many numbers as you want: -100 to 100 (probably even more) CHARACTERS: Commands: @CHARACTER moves to layer # @CHARACTER spot % X Y in zone # at layer # [image] This picture is an example to show how numbers working. What’s wrong with your script:

This command is wrong:
@overlay moves to layer 0

You have to use either:
INT. CAKE SHOP OL - DAY with TABLE CAFE at layer 0
or
@overlay TABLE CAFE to layer 0

The character needs to be moved to layers with the placement, not before it

&LEXIE stands screen center AND LEXIE moves to layer 1
&GRAHAM stands screen left AND GRAHAM is rear AND GRAHAM moves to layer 2
