Overlay is invisible?

I have my opacity set to 1, and everything seems to be correct.

INT. BLACK - DAY
@cut to zone 1
@overlay FLAME1 create
@overlay FLAME1 shifts to 100 100 in zone 1 in 0
@overlay FLAME1 scales to 1.0 1.0 in 0
@overlay FLAME1 opacity 1 in 0.6
@overlay FLAME1 to layer 2

To clarify, the box for the overlay shows, but the overlay itself is invisible.

Hiya!
Does this works?

INT. BLACK - DAY with FLAME1
@cut to zone 1
@overlay FLAME1 create
@overlay FLAME1 shifts to 100 100 in zone 1 in 0
@overlay FLAME1 scales to 1.0 1.0 in 0
@overlay FLAME1 opacity 1 in 0.6
@overlay FLAME1 to layer 2

Maybe try this?
INT. BLACK - DAY with FLAME1 to 1 100 100 in zone 1 at layer 2
&cut to zone 1
&overlay FLAME1 opacity 0 in 0
@overlay FLAME1 opacity 1 in 0.6

Still nothing. I’ve never had an issue like this before. I’m not sure what it could be.

That’s rlly weird
Try removing the other code and just testing this to see if it shows up:

INT. BLACK - DAY with FLAME1 to 1 100 100 in zone 1 at layer 2
@pause for 600

That also doesn’t seem to show, which makes me think its an issue with the overlay, but I have no idea what would be the problem with it

The issue is the background you’re using. Overlays don’t work well with the INT. BLACK - DAY background. They end up extremely huge where you have to either scale the overlay all the way to lime 0.001 or zoom all the way out.

It’s best to use a different background or just upload your own all black background

That seemed to fix the issue. Thank you so much to @Superpup and @Pure_Rebel and @Dara.Amarie !!
