At first, the overlay showed up in the story, then I changed its position. Afterwards, I changed the background. Now it won’t appear in my story. I’ve tried everything: changing the background back, making sure the opacity is at 100%, shifted it back to its normal position. Nothing is working. And the weird part is that when I do try to shift the overlay when testing the story, I can see the dotted box that’s supposed to surround the overlay and it’s within the screen, but my overlay is invisible. Can anyone please help?

Can you post a screenshot of your script?

make sure you are in the zone with the overlay, and also are there any other overlays in the zone? could be a layer problem, I can help more if you screen shot your script and show it

You didn’t script any opacity there though.
Like &overlay OVERLAYNAME opacity 1 in 0

And you mispelled BEDROOM AS BEDRROOM

Yes, I removed it because the overlay remained invisible and I assumed that by default, the opacity is 100%.

You should try putting the opacity back.
&overlay BIRDSEYE EM BEDROOM DUVET opacity 1 in 0
I made sure the overlay was in the same zone! No, there aren’t any other overlays.
OMG, it worked!! Maybe it didn’t work earlier because I misspelled the overlay in a different line. My bad for being so careless!
