Overlay Issue (Help required)

In one of my scene’s in Episode the character has been arrested and his eyes would move around: they also change from normal to demon black and then go back to normal. Every time the overlay finishes then goes to the next overlay it pops out of one and goes to the next one.

There are also more overlays further through the Episode that does the same thing. I’m not sure how to make them run smoothly, because when I review it on the computer they run smoothly: but on the phone, it’s quite choppy and not looking nice.

I’m not sure how to make the overlays run smoothly. So when someone plays that chapter on Episode the overlays won’t be choppy.

I don’t think that’s the problem, it’s more like when I have an overlay wanting to blink it has the eyes open and then the overlay disappears and then goes into the overlay that has their eyes shut. which leaves the screen blank for a few seconds.

When I read my Episode on my phone to see if I’ve made any mistakes. When I checked this it only disappears and reappears on overlays that are my characters outline. But I could be wrong.

I don’t think that worked, it brought an error… they all still disappear and reappear. I have a video on my instagram that shows the issues.

Add the overlays to the background

INT. BACKGROUND with OVERLAYNAME (in zone _ at later _) do this for how many overlays there are.

then when they’re suppose to appear use @overlay NAME opacity 1 in 0

e.g
