Overlay loop help needed!

Hi, I’ve got this overlay and matching background, but I can’t get it to loop
I’ve got my characters in car, and want it to look like they’re driving
This is what I’ve got atm

EXT. ROAD DAY with WIDESCREEN_TV with CAR SIDE PURPLE with LOOP_ROAD_DAY to 1.625 0 0 in zone 1 at layer -5
&overlay LOOP_ROAD_DAY_2 create from LOOP_ROAD_DAY and overlay LOOP_ROAD_DAY_2 opacity 1 in 0
&overlay LOOP_ROAD_DAY_2 scales to 1.625 1.625 in 0 and overlay LOOP_ROAD_DAY_2 shifts to 0 0 in zone 2 in 0 and overlay LOOP_OVERLAY_2 to layer -6
@overlay 4963897588973568_WIDESCREEN_TV shifts to -295 -203
@overlay 4963897588973568_WIDESCREEN_TV scales to 4.078 4.078
@overlay 4963897588973568_WIDESCREEN_TV opacity 0.5 in 0
@overlay CAR SIDE PURPLE shifts to -50 -6
@overlay CAR SIDE PURPLE scales to 0.658 0.658
@zoom on 0 0 to 100% in 0
@MAIN CHARACTER spot 1.280 32 -176 AND MAIN CHARACTER faces right AND MAIN CHARACTER is idle_armscrossed_awkward_loop AND DAWN spot 1.280 119 -180 AND DAWN faces right AND DAWN is talk_cup_neutral_loop

Can someone help me please?pv1_back_ROAD_DAY_5910390452322304_a63b13c06e439db801cc68609b585ba0

You have to use the looping command. You’ve only created and shifted the overlays so far.

&overlay OVERLAYNAME shifts to [a spot to the left] in zone 2 in 1 THEN overlay OVERLAYNAME shifts to [a spot to the right] in zone 2 in 1 loop 5 times

I assume it’s this line I need to use :slight_smile:
But how do I know what is meant to go in the [bracket] parts? :thinking:

They’re the two spots you want it to shift to. So the first one would be where it moves to first, then the second is the original position :slight_smile:

These are the background and overlay - could you help me please, I don’t understand how to do it sorry (it’s not you, it’s me, very easily confused lol)
I will give credit of course :slight_smile:

Did you still need help?

Did your problem get solved

I’d really love some help!! :smiley:

Ok I’ll try

What’s rhe name of your overlay

Overlay - LOOP_ROAD_DAY

One last question, what’s your background length
It’s of two zone of (1280×1136)
Or (1920× 1136) of zone 3

It’s important

3 zone background :slight_smile:

Here’s the coding

EXT. ROAD DAY with LOOP_ROAD_DAY to 2.365 -73 -228

&overlay LOOP_ROAD_DAY opacity 1
&overlay LOOP_ROAD_DAY to layer 5

&overlay LOOP_ROAD_DAY shifts to -883 -228 in 0.5 THEN overlay LOOP_ROAD_DAY shifta to -73 -228 in 0 loop infinite times

That’s the coding try it :slight_smile:
