Overlay not showing!

My overlays aren’t showing,. Can anyone help?I want it to fade in as well.

Here’s what I wrote:

INT. BLACK - NIGHT
@zoom reset
@overlay YEAR create
@overlay YEAR opacity 1 in 3
@overlay 2020 create
@overlay 2020 opacity 1 in 3

Overlays do not work well with this background. Use a different background or upload your own all black background.

Have you created the overlay or used the with command?

@overlay OVERLAYNAME create
@overlay OVERLAYNAME shifts to X Y
@overlay OVERLAYNAME scales to X Y

Ah okay. You had a post saying it wasn’t working which I assume is now deleted. But, glad it’s working now.
