Overlay opacity problem - overlay is still partly visible

So what I am doing is making an effect that there is the forest and then the forest by magic disappears and cabin appears.

the cabin is the background the forest is overlay with name NO_SRUB

I set the opacity to change to 0 in 3 seconds…it changes the opacity but it still remains partly visible instead of completly disappear - as you see in the picture.

???WHY???

Hmm I can’t see what the issue is here, maybe just remove the overlay after it faded out.

I already tried that but it is not smoth… you see there still sudden jump…it is strange the overlay seems to get brighter while changing opacity - I know this is the often happening bug after new change of the memory limit and lowering resolution…but I never heared that it results also in disability to make the overlay completly invisible…

I think it is not problem of the script but a bug…

interesting …I just for testing used

@create overlay

instead of having it next to the background

EXT. SRUB WOODEN HOUSE
&overlay NO_SRUB create
&overlay 5894885314199552_NO_SRUB shifts to 0 0 in zone 1
&overlay 5894885314199552_NO_SRUB scales to 1.803 1.803
&overlay 5894885314199552_NO_SRUB moves to layer 9
&overlay NO_SRUB opacity 1
&zoom reset
@pan to zone 2
@pause for 5
@overlay NO_SRUB opacity 0 in 3
@remove overlay NO_SRUB
@pan to zone 1

NARR

And this works perfectly and also it is without the getting brighter efect…so just posting it here in case somebody will experience the same problem
