Overlay placement help!

So I have no problems using overlays when it makes them apart of the background or whatever. But for the life of me I can’t place them without doing that! I’ve tried everything.

all I want is for him to hold popcorn in his hands and walk to the couch and then them sit on the couch with it.:woman_facepalming:

I removed what I had typed up with the overlay fyi. I just need to understand what I need to do because I straight up don’t get it.

Overlay Commands

@overlay OVERLAYNAME create
@overlay OVERLAYNAME shifts to X Y
@overlay OVERLAYNAME scales to X Y
@overlay OVERLAYNAME opacity X
@overlay OVERLAYNAME to layer #
@overlay OVERLAYNAME rotates ANGLE ANCHOR POINT
@overlay OVERLAYNAME clear

Create the overlay

@overlay OVERLAYNAME create
@overlay OVERLAYNAME shifts to X Y
@overlay OVERLAYNAME scales to X Y
@overlay OVERLAYNAME opacity X

Move the overlay

@overlay OVERLAYNAME shifts to X Y in S

Where:

  • X is the x coordinate
  • Y is the y coordinate
  • S is the number of seconds.

Thank you so much!!!:heart:
How do I know what to put for the coordinates?

Do you know how to use the spot helper?

Yes. I’m having proble getting the overlay to show up at all so that I can use the spot helper

Just wanted to confirm, otherwise I would have created a mini tutorial. :joy:
@overlay OVERLAYNAME create
@overlay OVERLAYNAME shifts to 0 0
@overlay OVERLAYNAME scales to 1 1
@overlay OVERLAYNAME opacity 1
