Overlay problems on mobile but not on the portal?

So, the story I’m currently working on uses a lot of overlays that enter in the middle of the scene. On the portal they all enter from the side fine using @overlay shifts to x y in x, but when I preview it on my phone they all enter from another corner than where I placed the overlay and awkwardly travel across the screen. I tried repositioning the overlays but it didn’t work, can anyone help with this?

Have you tried adding @overlay shift to X Y in zone # in #
Add it to your script and tell me if this works

Yeah, I’ve specified the zone with every overlay this happens with, still the same.

So you want your overlays to move in from the side? Did you place them at a starting point offscreen first?

Yeah I placed them off screen, and then moved them using @overlay shifts to x y in zone x in x, which looks great in the portal but for some reason not on my phone

Can you post your script here?

Yeah, here you go.

Script

&overlay OVERLAY create

&overlay OVERLAY opacity 1

&overlay OVERLAY shifts to 71 378 in zone 2

&overlay OVERLAY scales to 0.310 0.310

@overlay OVERLAY shifts to 177 374 in zone 1 in 1

Add “in 0” at the end of the opacity, shifts, and scales commands

&overlay OVERLAY create
&overlay OVERLAY opacity 1 in 0
&overlay OVERLAY shifts to 71 378 in zone 2 in 0
&overlay OVERLAY scales to 0.310 0.310 in 0
@overlay OVERLAY shifts to 177 374 in zone 1 in 1

Okay thank you, i’ll go give that a shot.

I changed it, but it’s still being weird :confused:

Change the scales command to @ instead of &

&overlay OVERLAY create
&overlay OVERLAY opacity 1 in 0
&overlay OVERLAY shifts to 71 378 in zone 2 in 0
@overlay OVERLAY scales to 0.310 0.310 in 0
@overlay OVERLAY shifts to 177 374 in zone 1 in 1
