Just my personal experience… when you put a lot things on one line and make a typo or just mess up the code it is almost impossible to find it. While it is easy on short lines.
While the efect is exactly the same if you use right way & @.
So there is really no need to shorten script with long lines. But it is of cause just matter of personal preferencies
