I made a post on reddit here and another one here and as you can see, I’m still having trouble! 
What can I do?! I tried gimp, then I moved to pixlr (which is easier!) But, my character can either go in front or behind but not in between. It says for the overlay that it’s at “max layer” but I can still move it. I’m so sick and tired and ready to quit plz help me!

Is the table an overlay as well? If no, then no matter what you do, your character cannot go behind the table.
Also, max layer doesn’t mean you cannot move the overlay, it just means that the overlay is on the highest layer it can be, meaning that the overlay would be in front of everything and never behind unless you re-layer it with the command e.g &overlay OVERLAYNAME to layer 3
