Overlays and sizing

Hey guys!

I am trying to put a limo in front of a hotel. I’ve done this so far:

EXT. JUVIE BELLVUE HOTEL ENTRANCE - DAY with CAR SIDE LIMO

But the limo is TINY and I want this @overlay CAR SIDE LIMO shifts to -204 -18
@overlay CAR SIDE LIMO scales to 2.395 2.395 to be put in it too. But everytime I put:

EXT. JUVIE BELLVUE HOTEL ENTRANCE - DAY with CAR SIDE LIMO shifts to -204 -18 it doesn’t work. I am going crazy because I’ve searched almost everywhere and tried everything, but cannot seem to enlarge the limo while having that background.

Can someone please help me, where am I going wrong?

Thanks

If you’re goint to add the overlay to the background name, the format looks like this:

BACKGROUND NAME with OVERLAYNAME to % x y in zone #

You can learn more about overlays here:

If you’re writing it in the background’s name, don’t write shifts, write the scale, then the shifting’s numbers.
*scale is only one number if you write it in the background’s name.

Thanks! I’ll try my luck again ahaha

Hey there  So does this mean I should only write the scale and remove shifts from my bold line ^?

Try writing something like:

EXT. JUVIE BELLVUE HOTEL ENTRANCE - DAY with CAR SIDE LIMO to 1.000 -204 -18

I wrote 1.000 in the scale (default scale) but you can write whatever you want.
