Overlays that I made

I’m using cutting out some things from backgrounds and practicing making overlays.

I use a tool in procreate for things like books, doors etc that lets me crop wherever I want with straight edges. I don’t know what software or app you’re using but such a feature is really handy and I think you’d find it really useful for overlays that have any straight sides to them.

But you’re doing really well! :relaxed: Your cut outs are pretty neat.

I know about procreate but I’m an android user, so for these overlays, I used ibis paint x.

You can try pixlr, but I’m not sure if it works the same on phones/tablets. But it’s a free website for PC users and it has tools that you can use for straight lines (books, cupboards, doors, etc).

Another thing that I think might work for you to get tidier overlays is to draw over the rough edges using the eyedropper tool. I can show you how that works if you’d like.
