Gang stories in general are not things I’m into since they romanticize toxic relationships, but that is with the exception of Without You

I don’t want to name stories but ones with clear signs that the relationships are not healthy. Like many trending stories have scenes of the LI telling the girl she shouldn’t wear certain clothes and then puts her into a “librarians” outfit. I saw a story that the LI was blackmailing the MC to date them and now they are married with a child and have clear trust issues with each other. WHY DOES ANYONE LIKE THESE!
Edit: also after the date he tells her she means nothing to him.

A lot of people apparently… I saw many screenshots on Instagram of this story and it sounded great but I realized that the LI was controlling af… And the author said she is married. EXCUSE ME YOU ARE TELLING ME YOU ARE MARRIED AND WRITING STORIES LIKE THIS. 
It made me really concerned for her, like what is her relationship like if this is how she portrays her LI

Romance stories that solely revolve around an MC or LI that has trust issues, so the MC/LI spends the entire story trying to change that.
I get this happens, but the majority of the time, said hurt person uses that as an excuse to string the other person along/or treat them like shit (i.e: silent treatment, leading them on, making them walk on eggshells). It’s just ridiculous. Like if you have that many issues, find a therapist and leave the poor person alone lol.
this is coming from someone with major trust issues & trauma. been single for almost a year while I get help LOL.
Like, it just bugs me bc I would hate doing that to someone.
