Photo frame overlay hanging on the wall

Hi everyone!
So,
I wanted to know something about overlays.
I want to use a photo frame overlay and make it look like it’s pinned to a board and the character in it is the Love interest and I want only his face to be seen.
As my Love interest is customizable so I don’t want to take a ss and then use it. Can anyone help plzz?

I think you could cut the middle part of the frame where you want the LI to show up and use that as an overlay. And then, you put the character in the middle part of the frame and they should show up :))

In that way then the down part of their body won’t appear?

If you want the fullbody to appear, I guess you’d have to either just scale the characters to fit into that part or just have a photo which isn’t full body

I don’t want it’s full body to appear only the part above the neck is fine for me

If you take the whole background with the photo frame and just cut off the middle part of the frame and use it as an overlay which falls on a layer on top of the characters, you can scale your characters accordingly to fit the frame, hope that explains it

The bg which I told u is the bg on which the photo would be hanged not the bg that will be shown in the photo
