Playing an electric guitar overlay

Hi there! I’d like to ask if there’s a way to make my character play an electric guitar? I know that there’s the play_airguitar animation but there’s no electric guitar in the portal (correct me if I’m wrong :sneezing_face: ). Thus I made my own overlay but I couldn’t get the layering right (it’s either the guitar is behind the character or in front of the character). Is there a way for this like changing opacity/etc or will I need to custom edit it?

if you want to do it overlay wise then i think you’ll have to make your own limbs for it so that the characters hands and arms are in front of the guitar and the characters body is behind it

You can make hand overlays and put them on top of the electric guitar overlay.
You could also suggest Episode releases an electric guitar animation or prop, but it takes a lot of time for them to release things since they are really busy at work.
Orrrrr, you could just use the normal episode guitar prop and pretend it’s an electric guitar prop, and change it once episode releases something more accurate.

If I make an overlay for the limb, I will need to make it shift up and down to make it look like it’s strumming right?

yeah :(( it’ll be hard work but that’s the only way i can think of if there’s no prop for it
