I think the more interesting thing is they’ve probably been doing all of those things from the get go. But because laws have been getting passed in the last couple years forcing companies to get permission from users to sell their personal info, they’re now giving us notices such as these giving the appearance that this is a new thing. This is why I use a dummy account with no actual personal info attached to it. :rofl:

I totally understand, it is and always has been super gross, but I find it really interesting that an app which reminds us often and repeatedly that the target audience is CHILDREN, is saying “nah this is fine”.

I know. One might think that they are in fact giant hypocrites only interested in maximizing profits at any cost, including preying on children who even if they do agree to have their personal info sold to the highest bidder likely don’t understand the long term consequences of such a choice. But that would be crazy… right? :roll_eyes:
