Please help with overlays!

I want my character to be on a video call with this overlay >> SELFIE FEMALE 4 << But I don’t know-how.

Check out this guide, and if you still have issues post a screenshot of your script :relaxed:

Nothing is popping up on my screen in zone 2

You need to create the overlay and set the opacity first:

@overlay SELFIE FEMALE 4 create
@overlat SELFIE FEMALE 4 opacity 1

Hello,
Also, your scales code isn’t correct. That is your shift coordinates. So when you do spot directing, under the preview screen in the white box copy & paste the code from it.

So can you give me an example of how it would look in the scripts.

I know you weren’t asking me but an example would look something like:

&overlay SELFIE FEMALE 4 create
&overlay SELFIE FEMALE 4 opacity 1 in 0
&overlay SELFIE FEMALE 4 shifts to 196 223 in zone 2
&overlay SELFIE FEMALE 4 scales to 1.000 1.000
&overlay SELFIE FEMALE 4 to layer 5

well, you can just write:

BACKGROUNDAME with SELFIE FEMALE 4 at layer 3

&overlay SELFIE FEMALE 4 to layer 4

^^ That code worked perfectly thanks so much ! <3

But as Farah said which I edited out from earlier, you can just add it to the background name if you want it to already be there when the scene starts.

You would do something like:
BACKGROUND with SELFIE FEMALE 4 1.000 196 223 in zone 2 at layer 4

1.000 represents the scales number while the 196 223 represents the shifts code coordinates

Or you can still use the create command but just have it right below the background name if you want it to be there as soon as the scene starts.

No problem! :slightly_smiling_face:

It worked thank you, everyone.!
