Please HELP with this feature!

Hey!
Lately, I’ve noticed that a lot of authors have started using a feature that allows the reader to click on certain things… Like if you want to put in a code you can just click the numbers that are already in the background that they use. How is this possible? (It’s used in stories like Adrenalin and Hidden Shadows)
