First, go to characters tab of your story where you can edit your character’s hair, skin, body, etc. There you will see in the address bar of the website certain numbers (which I’ve highlighted for you in the above screen shot.) choose the character (eg: Maeve) from the side panel and then copy the numbers for Maeve.
Next go to your script and paste the numbers within square brackets [#].
For example here my character is named YOU and her character number is 5249553403674624.
I have been adding points to this chartacter and want to show the readers the points in a narration bubble. So I write:
NARRATOR
You have [5249553403674624] points.
This will display the points scored by the reader.
