Hello everyone! This morning, I woke up and decided to try drawing. Art was never my strong suit. Excluding elementary school art classes, I don’t really do paintings and drawing and stuff. I used to take arts and crafts when I was like 8, but other than that, I never really took art classes, so I think it’s safe to say I’m a beginner. I’ve looked at a bunch of tutorials, but I can’t find any good face ones. Anyways, here is what I have done so far. I’ll attach another picture of the final product!

What platform/app are you using to do draw?

Well, for ur first drawing… great!
Usually u would use a flat color for hair base then go over it in a lighter color with a brush like round brush point. For the face, try using a full continuous line. Add a line thru the middle to find the correct position for the eyes, u can find the nose/lips from there 
use a reference to help w anatomy. Maybe try drawing over episode characters to help w positions of features (: hope this helps u!

It was made on PicsArt. I usually only make edits and on one of my editing apps, there was a drawing feature.

IbisPaint is absolutely perfect for beginners, I use Procreate but that’s not free. IbisPaint has over 300 brushes that r incredibly helpful.

it looks great! As a beginner (Idk if you are or not) Its great to get the basics down like the face shape and the hairline. Everything else can come next. The next steps are what give your drawing character, this is just the beginning so as long as you get the basics down and understand simple features, you should do amazing things in the future!
Remember, everyone started at something like this at one point or another! It takes perfect practice and technique to improve! You will get there! I believe in you!
