Socks from September to April.
I’m Canadian and ain’t tryna burn the planet too badly, so the internal temperature in my house is about 6C (10F) hotter in the summer than in the winter. So that means if I don’t wear socks to sleep in the winter, my feet will be popsicles, and if I do wear them in the summer, they’ll develop a marsh ecosystem.
Fr, I have such poor circulation that if I don’t wear them in the winter, my feet will start to tingle and go numb as the nerves complain that they’re dying of frostbite.
Like “shut up toe, it’s 17C (63F) in here, no need to get overdramatic.”
