If you are doing more portraits or people drawing, I would definitely advise to practice anatomy… Structures/ highlights/ shadowing etc.
Find your own style. What I mean by is that if your paint is more anime style or realistic or comic…
Practice practice practice.
Youtube has a lot of different artist showing tutorials or tips on how to paint certain things.
Don’t give up, if you get tired of a piece you are working on, go back to it later when you have a clearer mind.
