Problem at layer

is it working then? :smiley:

yeah, but there is a scene when I need another customer coming and they stand behind the bar?

what did you removed it then? :thinking:

but then what about other 2 main character stand behind the bar?

Did you try? What did you change?

never mind, I change other background it … it too complicate :frowning:

Here’s the weird thing about layering overlays and using the “enters” command.

When you don’t layer an overlay, characters will be behind the overlay by default. When you do layer the overlay, now characters will stand in front of the overlay by default.

Using the “enters from left/right” command places the characters at a default layer.

So since you layered the overlay in the beginning, your characters will be in front of the overlay because you had them “enter”. You can do 2 things to fix this:
1- you can place your characters offscreen first with the layer you want them in then have them walk onscreen
2- or you could remove the overlay layer, have your characters enter, then change the characters’ and the overlays layer right after so that the other characters later in the scene will be in front of the bar

INT. BAR - DAY with COUNCIL BAR to 1.000 -18 6 in zone 1 at layer 3
@zoom on 160 284 to 107% in 0
music music_noirjazz
&VIVI spot 1.280 368 0 AND VIVI moves to layer -3
&EMMA spot 1.280 -54 0 AND EMMA moves to layer -3
@EMMA walks to spot 1.280 160 0 THEN EMMA faces right
@VIVI walks to spot 1.280 270 0
@pause for a beat
VIVI (talk_agree_happy)
Okay, the job are simply easy-
@zoom on 160 284 to 107% in 0

And if you want another character to enter and to be in front move it to a layer 4+
Example:
@ADAM enters from left to screen center AND ADAM moves to layer 5

it work, thanks so much for your hepl T.T
