ofc!! i currently use procreate but before that I used ibis paint X and medibang.
for filters I use VSCO and polarr (but lately I’ve been leaning towards this app since it has more free filters).
my canvas size changes depending what I’m trying to do and what quality I’m looking for but most of my edits are either 2000 x 3000px and 3240 x 4096 px.
Hey! Thank you for tagging, that’s really sweet! I use procreate, but honestly it’s not the most efficient app for editing. I don’t tend to use filters or dramatic contrasts for light and shadow and instead just fix them up a bit, but I recommend watching light source tutorials on YouTube to help you understand light and shadows better.
I’ve heard good things about Lumi for filters. I use Lightroom for quality fixes but if you minimize the amount of image transformation you do (rotation, etc) you should need to sharpen too much.
I’m kind of a control freak so I do everything on separate layers, so I use a smaller canvas to increase the number of layers available in procreate. I honestly think the most important thing is keeping everything proportional. But if you want to recolour or add texture to the hair, you can paint over it. Just takes a bit of experimenting. Idk if you have specific questions, feel free to ask!
