It’s not that I hate all things romance… I’m just so tired of the same poorly written mess that seems to dominate the trending section. It’s so hard to find well written ones without the feeling that they wrote it simply to get people to read it. I have tried. and each one that I’ve found feels like a carbon copy with different names and power-play position over the female (boss/teacher/gangster/bad-boy) and the females are almost always weak, under-developed and void of any real traits beyond “OoOo, hOt GuY!”
So, I’m sure I will love your story, regardless. There needs to be more exposure for mental health and illnesses. You can’t help or fix something that’s never talked about.
Well, serious props to you for writing about mental health. (and I’ve seen on IG where you are promoting mental health awareness. I think it’s great that you are trying to raise awareness and showing people an outlet for their emotions.)

I think it’s awesome that you are putting a lot of effort into your revamp! That shows true dedication Romance isn’t my genre of choice. But, I do hope that other people give your story a chance. It sounds neat with the whole " might not be entirely human…:" part of the description. And kudos for making the MC bisexual. A lot of stories are either heterosexual or homosexual relationships. It’s a choice between a man or a woman- no buts or in-betweens. lol.

Not my style of story but I think the premise of it sounds neat. Most mafia stories surround only one person being a gangster and a goody-two-shoes. LOL I wish you the best of luck and hope that people who enjoy these types of stories give it a chance
romance isn’t my first choice either, honestly. before i revamped people asked for love interests so i decided to give it during the revamp. not sure how much “romance” is gonna be involved though lmao. thank you for your nice comments!
You’re welcome. Just write your story the way you see it! Some people will never be 100% pleased with what you decide… but that’s why it’s your story and not theirs. I think it’d be fun to see a not-so-romantic romance between characters.
