Promote Your Story Here: Trying to Form a Collaborative Community Among Writers!

Hello everyone! Sooo recently I’ve been on a reading new stories with not a lot of reads spree and I’m really enjoying so far. I think it’s great to give new authors a chance to have their stories known and get to know something to improve. I had a couple threads a while ago in which I reviewed stories for other people and I absolutely loved it so I want to do it again.

So leave your stories here! Include something unique about your story that makes people wanna click.

And a little message to everyone who leaves a reply: I think I, as well as other new authors, very much would appreciate a collaborative community where we could all give each other feedback on our stories, so we thank you for reading our stories and for leaving any constructive feedback.

Also, personally, I don’t like the “I’ll send you screenshots of your story and however many chapters you read of my story I’ll read of yours” deal. I think it’s really staged and I feel that if you like someones story (or don’t like) you shouldn’t feel obligated to only read a certain number of chapters (or any at all). We should all try to read at least the first chapter and if we really don’t want to continue after that we shouldn’t feel obligated to. May just be my own unpopular opinion, but that’s the reason I don’t want to do the screenshot thing. I used to, but I didn’t think it was a good way to find stories I actually enjoyed reading. If you guys want to do R4R with each other though, I completely support it!

I’d also really appreciate if you could give my own story some feedback which I haven’t really gotten. I’d like to know what people think and if there’s anything I could improve on as a relatively new author.

Unique Thing: Starting at chapter 3 but mostly chapter 4, and beyond I begin to integrate an extended flashback with my characters.
So when you read my story, it’s like you’re reading two in one! A high school drama and a action/mystery!

I think what makes my story different than other stories is that, it’s essentially a mystery story but I balance it out with comedy, romance, and a bit of action to fit the interest of all readers while keeping them entertained.
