Publishing a Story Questions!

Hi! I recently published a story, and it’s been getting less reads than I had hoped for. I was wondering what are some ways to bring more spotlight to your story?
And also, does Episode need to review your story before it reaches people’s shelves?
Thank you so much!

For spotlight-
Promote your story on instagram through groups, your handle etc.
Promote your story through threads on forums
Indulge in reads for reads, reviews by supporting fellow authors as well.
Participate in some giveways which offer story promotion or reviews/shoutout as prize.

And to answer your second question, yes episode needs to review your story before it can show up in the trending section or any other shelf.
Hope it helps :two_hearts:

Moved to Episode Fan Community since this isn’t about story creation. Make sure to check out our Forum Tutorial for more info about creating topics, and feel free to PM me if you’ve got questions.

Thank you so much! How do you get Episode to review your story?

If your story is eligible or nominated to be on a shelf, they will review it without you needing to ask them, but if you want to request that the team review your story then you’ll need to submit a ticket asking for a review and attach your story link.

Hey I have published two stories so here some tips!
Firstly, find some groups to do read for read that can boost your reads and people might recommend it if they like it.
On Instagram there are some Episode groups who will read and review your story and they might recommend it!
Lastly, try to get the “hype” up about your story, maybe making posts or dropping sneak peeks will help you reach an audience.

But does requesting a review by issuing support ticket puts us on trending?

Hi, thank you so much for your help! What stories did you publish? I’d love to check it out

No, it’s just a review to make sure your story doesn’t violate guidelines.

They’re called, ‘Cold Blood’ and ‘Armed Shots’, both in ink + of course! Glad to help!
