Okay, so a few days ago I created a new account and saw a ‘pen’ icon next to it which allowed me to change it. But on my own, more specifically this account, I don’t have such an icon.
Is the feature for new/specific accounts?

Yes, it is for very new accounts.
I feel bad. I hate the double a in my username for some reason, while I was the one who requested to get it changed
