I am a junior in HS but I’ve been thinking about going to a university and staying in a dorm- who has experience with this and did you like it?

I have experienced it and I’ll tell you I hated it. I guess it was just a terrible experience for me but I would never like to get it again

It’s been 20 years and dorms have changed a LOT since then (I know they’re getting away from shoebox rooms with 2 beds, 2 dressers, 2 desks, and then a bathroom and kitchen everyone on your floor shares) but I really clashed with my roommate and ended up spending much more time in a neighboring dormmate’s room than my own.
