Quick Error writing fix- spotting

Hi, I am writing right now and one of my characters is standing in front of the other. Is there a way I can make this the other way around so that the character is standing behind the other one?

Yes! Make sure to change the layers each character is in.

Hope this helps! :slightly_smiling_face:

Can you paste the part where you want them to be in different layers so I can see what needs to be fixed?

INT. LAVISH ENTRY HALL2 -DAY
@AUNT CLARA spot 1.250 283 1 at layer 2 AND AUNT CLARA faces left
@ MRS CASTALDI spot 1.250 36 1 at layer 1 AND MRS CASTALDI faces right
@SHANE spot 1.286 120 1 at layer -1 AND SHANE faces right
@ MRS CASTALDI is talk_giggle
@AUNT CLARA is talk_happy
@ CARMEN enters from right to spot 1.250 217 20 at layer 0
This is what I have

OK see if this works

@AUNT CLARA spot 1.250 283 1 in zone 1 at layer 2
(or whatever zone you want her in) and just follow this format for Mrs. Castaldi

and for Carmen, you can try this

@CARMEN enters from right to (whatever spot you want her in)
&CARMEN spot 1.250 217 20 (in whatever zone you want her in)
&CARMEN moves to layer 0

Let me know if this works!

It worked perfectly! Thank you so much! Do you know if I can start a scene in zone 2 or would I have to pan there?

No problem! And yes. You can either pan or cut to zone 2
