Rate/Critique My Art

I’ve started practicing drawing because I’ve never tried drawing faces (I’ll get to full body sketches later). I can tell that stuff is off but I could use more experienced sets of eyes to help me improve.

The first one was supposed to be based off of me but then I gave up and just traced a random jawline from online. Ik the eyes are super asymmetrical. My favorite part about it is the skin shading.
For the second one, I traced the head/jawline since eyeballing it wasn’t working all that well. I also kind of traced the nose and mouth, and I just copied the first eye for the second one.
In terms of hair, both of these pushed me out of my comfort zone, since I’ve never tackled short or curly hair.
I’m kind of alright with the skin shading, ofc it’s not perfect but I’ve been practicing that for longer. This tutorial helped a lot.
Overall, please give me your advice! Also, should I trace more? I don’t want to just copy my models but idk if it’s good practice or not. Give me your thoughts on that.
PROGRAM: Photoshop using my Wacom tablet.

I don’t really like scales of 1-10 but I know other people do so here goes:
1 = Garbage
5 = Definitely needs improvement
10 = Flawless

Your colouring is better than what I’ve seen previously (from other artists)! But the lineart could be improved!
