Readers getting the wrong LI

I need help with my coding. My readers keep getting the wrong LI and I don’t know what’s wrong.

Here is my initial code when they make their final choice. There are two male LI’s and one female. Welly is both a male LI and a female LI.

Did I do this code right?

@speechbubble is 119 306 to 100% with tail_top_right
PIPPA (think_rubchin)
Now, I have an important choice to make.
PIPPA (think_rubchin)
Today is the day that I come clean about who I want to pursue.
@speechbubble is 160 287 to 100%
NARR
This is your | bold , color:red |FINAL|reset| choice.
choice “Floyd”{
gain floyd_branch
@speechbubble is 119 306 to 100% with tail_top_right
PIPPA (deepbreath)
Of course it’s Floyd. It’s always been Floyd.
The answer has been right in front of me this whole time.
goto floyd_branch
}“Welly”{
if (female_welly){
gain female_branch
}else{
gain male_branch
}
@speechbubble is 119 306 to 100% with tail_top_right
PIPPA (flirt_coy)
Of course it’s Welly. It’s always been Welly.

}

if (female_branch){
goto female_branch
} elif (male_branch){
goto male_branch
} else {
goto floyd_branch
}
@transition iris out black in 1

In my two most recent chapters is where my readers are saying they get the wrong LI and this is my code:

if (female_branch){
goto other_reply
} elif (male_branch){
goto other_reply
} else {
goto floyd_reply
}

The problem is they’re saying they’re getting Welly instead of Floyd. My codes vary for each LI scene just with different labels.
