No you don’t understand. Read what I posted carefully. You do not customize the duplicate character. You need to use the “becomes” code which will make the duplicate look exactly like the customized character.
@DUPLICATE becomes JASON
Then you can change Jason’s mouth and eye color to be a vampire. When you want to go back to the original look the readers chose, Jason will need to become the duplicate character.
@JASON becomes DUPLICATE
