Personally, I don’t like this story because of the horrendous plot. But, it also GLORIFIES bullying/ “mean” pranking and it is justified because the bad boy is doing it and they are young and in high school. Also, not only does it glorifies bullying, the story has criminal activity. Example: vandalism, theft, etc. (Even tho Episode does nothing about laws.) And this story breaks content guidelines and I want to report it, but I guess you can’t report featured stories.

In conclusion, I am really disappointed with Episode. This story really should be the last straw for me, but I’ve been on this app for almost 5 years… Your thoughts/opinions are welcomed.
EDIT- I just read up to 11 of the story and I think it’s great but they should
remove the first 3 chapters and replace it with light pranks. But honestly,
after reading the first 3 chapters I think the story is okay.
I think the story could of been a comedy making fun of the bad boy and bad girl cliche and I would of enjoyed it. I honestly was laughing especially since this is a romance. I don’t feel any romance for the girl (i chose a bad girl) who put my bra on a pole, and I don’t feel any romance for guy who decides to be nice AFTER not helping me with the bra issue.
My biggest issue with this is one, it obviously breaks the episode guidelines and it just proves to me that they should make the age to 15, not 13, if they are gonna go this direction and it would allow mature stories without worry of it breaking guidelines.
I also hate that it’s going into a cliche bad boy romance and love triangle. I wish they made this into a comedy not ANOTHER cliche romance.
The story did make me laugh but that’s probably because of the stupid things that happened in the plot. The one good thing that story did is that it had ACTUAL CHOICES. There were enough regular choices that mattered that I could choose without spending gems. It didn’t feel like every choice required gems and I hope more Episode stories do that in the future.
The girl in the story doesn’t feel bullied! There’s a difference between being bullied and having fun. And this girl is having fun and trying to find her own way to revenge.
Yes she does feel bullied what are you talking about? She feels bullied and humiliated, she asked the love interest to stop but they did not. If you think this is just playing around it’s not.
Bullying: “Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Both kids who are bullied and who bully others may have serious, lasting problems.”
Harassment: “the act of systematic and/or continued unwanted and annoying actions of one party or a group, including threats and demands.”
She doesn’t have to feel bullied for other people to know that she IS being bullied! She hates how the other people are making fun of her because of the bad boy! And every time she tries to get revenge, but fails and gets even more embarrassed! The girl clearly is bothered too! Who tf has fun when someone hangs your bra on a pole?!? Or steals your clothes? Or even bullies you and harasses you? And that bad boy is clearly bullying her by stealing her undergarments and she clearly doesn’t want that! Also, she posted a picture of her drooling? THAT’S BULLYING! And the bad boy is clearly harassing her too! By always breaking into her house and has this weird obsession of stealing her undergarments and hanging them somewhere!

blackmails me, takes pictures of me without my consent, posts pictures of me, without my consent,
online, harasses me, bullies me, and tries to start a "prank war" with me, I
would NOT have "fun" and I would obviously be bothered about it!
LINCOLN IS NOT BULLING ANYONE! And Lincoln is nothing like Alex/Alec. His pranks are completely harmless! But the bad boy’s “pranks” are! Her peers freaking tease and taunt her about it and she is humiliated by them!! And she always asks him to stop! And last time I checked, all the “pranks” she played, DIDN’T WORK! And eventually turned into she getting hurt and BULLIED.
There is such a thing as going too far. And let’s not forget we’re talking about a complete stranger. This is a person with whom the MC has exchanged two words with. The fact that they broke into her house should be scary and raise all kinds of alarms, nevermind the fact that they stole a piece of her clothing, and then hung it for everyone to see, with the clear intention of humiliating her. Again, we’re talking about a person the MC had JUST met.
And that’s not the only thing, without provokation, this person makes her their target for their childish pranks, even after she clearly asks them to stop. The only thing stopping this character from being the antagonist of the story is the fact that the MC finds them attractive, which is actually a really concerning trend within the Episode community. “It doesn’t matter if this person rapes, tortures, or kills people because they’re like, so hawt!”.
Well that is my opinion, and I’m sure I’m not the only one. Through all 3 chapters I found nothing that would proof you right.
But one thing I do admit- I didn’t read the gem choices. If you did, please tell me or better show me - if they contain anything what is against guidelines.
I personally find this story to be ridiculous and badly written. But I don’t think it should be removed. I don’t see it violating any guidelines. All the issues are up to interpretation. The freedom to write controversial content is necessary for all of us.
Maybe a good compromise would be to have it removed from the featured list.
