With the forums closing down, (and my old threads now archived because I kept forgetting to keep them alive) I thought it a good idea to pop this thread up so that those who want to make sure they keep note of all resources, can scrawl these down too, or follow me on Instagram.
So… I have been making backgrounds now for a while. My commissions are pretty much ALWAYS open, unless I have a long list to get done, when I will take a temporary pause. My style is more along the lines of a realistic approach, rather than episode-style. However, I do have a drive that will be gradually updated with a more drawn/arty style in due course too. My prices are for LIFETIME access, so just a one-time payment.
I often open up a message box on my Instagram stories where my followers can make suggestions/ideas on what they would like to see added
All content in my background drives comes with the corresponding overlays and in some cases, optional ones too.

Proofreading and Critique

So, here is a new one. I decided to also add some other services here now, so do scroll to the bottom for more info!
As some of you know, I have been proofreading for a while now, and have had some lovely satisfied customers leaving their comments on my old thread. I do enjoy being able to help others where I can. I know that it is a tricky thing sometimes to try to proofread your own work as you go as it is easy to miss minor errors as your eyes and mind skip over them as you work. On top of that, Episode can be tricky with catching glitches and coding errors on branches when you are skipping back and forth on your script, so it is always helpful to have that extra set of eyes that can catch those things that you miss.
That is what I would like to help you do!
Due to my own work and my busy home life, my schedule can be very crowded so I do these in my free time. I provide as much depth and detail as possible to these reviews/feedback documents as I can, but this can be a timely process and it is for that reason that I do charge a fee. I try to keep the fee as low and fair as possible, but have in the past spent multiple hours working on a single document, logically, that adds up so I hope that you can understand that I aim to give you the best deal that I can whilst also valuing my own time. Because of this, I have also split my services to make things more affordable for those with limited funds, who still want some thorough checks.

Consists of reading the episode/chapter and providing feedback on typos/spelling/grammar. Any noticed errors during the reading process. Corrections for these errors, and suggestions for other edits that could generally improve the episode/chapter. – This service is based on corrections of errors with limited other feedback.

Constructive Critique
Consists of reading the episode and checking for spelling/typos/grammar issues, correcting these. Any errors or glitches and advising on necessary corrections. Advising on edits to be made to strengthen scenes/episodes including comments on plot and characters and progression of the story etc… This is a more detailed level of feedback which focuses on ways to improve and polish what you have and set up the best way to continue.

Reviews
Consists of reading the Episode/s/Chapter/s and looking at them as a whole. Errors will be addressed/pointed out, but not corrected as the focus will be on giving my views on the written content itself. Honest feedback will consist of things such as the quality of the work, the plot, the characters, how to strengthen/improve what you have with advice on going forward etc. This is essentially what you would expect from a standard review but provided in detail with constructive criticism and examples. These will not be written to tear you or your work down, will not be aimed at shaming you for mistakes made, They will just be created to help you notice the areas for improvement and assist you in making the necessary changes etc. 100% honest! – Not vague. Not sugar-coated NOT OFFENSIVE

Advice:
Consists of a casual chat regarding whatever issues you may be having. This is informal and free of charge providing that it is non-specific (for example, not asking me to actually come up with ideas for you/correct or edit your work etc.) We can discuss your issues with writing/coding or ironing out your plot etc. We can also discuss your ideas for covers/cover art, description, title etc. If there is anything specific that you need help with that isn’t a part of the above services, feel free to ask and I can arrange IF there will be a fee for it, and if so, what that will be. All chats are non-obligatory. So, do not hesitate to reach out, you are not committed to purchasing any service. x
