My goodness! Fantastic complicated direction I wouldn’t dream of attempting yet… wow! I loved the TV haunting, appearing-disappearing recording, reminded me a bit of Videodrome and Poltergeist with the kid talking to the tv static; very creepy!
And I admire the world building you’ve done; I may have to re-read a few times to keep up with it all. (Not necessarily a criticism of the writing though; I’m post-concussive, so concentration and memory is a problem at times, and since the injury, remembering names of things is hard, so keeping the various worlds and intersections straight was impossible for me. But then I’m always the one who has to keep flipping back between maps and appendices in fantasy novels (“Who was that again? From WHAT house?”). Thumbs up!
