I legit thought I was the only one who read and liked The Enchantress hahaha no one ever talks about it!
But yes, this has to be the only featured story that I actually liked. Ever. And ironically enough, it’s the one that’s full of tropes such as the love triangle, the nerd-to-gorgeous girl, the childhood best friend to lover, the popular guy, the mean girls… but it was done right, and that’s why I liked it.
Now, I read this story a long time ago so I don’t remember everything, but I liked that the cast was pretty diverse (at least the main cast) and free of cultural or racial stereotypes. And I liked that the MC wasn’t some helpless girl who was only waiting for that overnight makeover to be a someone. She was strong at the beginning and was equally strong after the flower incident happened. I’m glad the flower thing was treated comically mostly and not as some kind of awaited miracle.
The only thing that didn’t sit right with me was, like you said, Eve’s reaction to Emma and Jake

Edit: ah also, I picked Jake in the end but I was so conflicted for a while because both were equally sweet. I liked Kai a lot too hehe
