Authors! When you’re looking for backgrounds on royalty-free photo sites like Pexels or Pixabay, which sites give your the best results in terms of accuracy and usable photos?
For example, say you’re looking for a kitchen interior. Which sites give you results that you can best use in your stories?
For me, I’ll go with Pixabay.
Don’t know if this is what you mean, but for me I like to search for the thing I need like “Kitchen” and then add “render” to the search.
Adding “render” often gives better angles and there are almost never people in the photos.
If I find a photo with the feel and look that I am after, I then go to the creator’s page and look at all their photos.
Chances are that when it is a render, they have uploaded other angles of the same room, which is something I often want and need in order to make the scenes I like to write.
