Did you try to add this overlay to the background to see if that work?

INT. BACKGROUND - DAY with CARRIAGE to 2.972 127 94 in zone 2

Nope I didn’t let me try it out as well…

Can you screenshot me the overlay in the Overlay catalog?

Yes of course…

Here…

What I mean is can you take a screenshot of this overlay in the catalog so I can see it the name as well not the actual overlay.

Um… I don’t know how to do that… sorry.

Oh my god!! It appears… it does appear now…
Thank you @Apes
Really… Thanks a lot!!

How do you make your character walk in your direction from a certain spot???

Here’s a guide on Spot Walking:

You’ll find the answer in #2 on the EXTRA TIP section.

Okay I don’t really know what the problem is-

NARRATOR (RYDER)

My friend

ZANE (talk_arms_crossed)

Took you long enough.

&pan to zone 1 in 2

&RYDER spot 0.759 92 255 AND RYDER faces right

&ZANE walks to spot 0.753 187 261 in 3 AND ZANE faces left

@speechbubble is 155 311 to 79% with tail_top_left

RYDER (talk_handsonhips)

Long time no see Zane.

Here’s the script I have placed my characters (Zane and Ryder) in these spots (mentioned above) but they just don’t appear in those spot (appear but in different spots) (not mentioned above).
It doesn’t show any errors is this a glitch or something like that please tell me…

Okay… nevermind I found a solution to it…

EXT. MANHATTAN SKYLINE CAR LOOP - DAY with INSIDE CAR in zone 1 @LAYER -2 with CAR INTERIOR in zone 1 @LAYER 1
&EVERLY stands screen center @layer -1 AND ROSS stands screen right @layer 0 AND ROSS faces left AND REBECCA stands screen left @layer 0 and REBECCA faces right

I’m getting an error on this. Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong? Pretty please?:persevere:

You have to write it like this…

EXT. MANHATTAN SKYLINE CAR LOOP - DAY with INSIDE CAR in zone 1 at layer -2 with CAR INTERIOR in zone 1 at layer 1
&EVERLY stands screen center at layer -1 AND ROSS stands screen right at layer 0 AND ROSS faces left AND REBECCA stands screen left at layer 0 and REBECCA faces right

You have to write at instead of @

Thank you! You are totally right. I didn’t catch that at all.

It’s still coming up as an error though. :no_mouth:

What’s the error saying??

My choice isn’t being remembered. It just skips to the end of my story.

Here’s my script:

(Should I get a makeover?)

“OH HELL NO, I DON’T NEED TO LOOK GOOD FOR A BOY”{

    DIANA (talk_neutral)
Thanks, but no thanks [MC]

    MC (talk_shrug)
Suit yourself Diana.

    DIANA (talk_sheepish)
[MC]?

    MC (talk_neutral)
Yes?

    DIANA (talk_awkward)
Thank you..

    MC (talk_apathetic)
Anytime girl.

    DIANA (talk_primp_condescend)
Of course, I've gotta look my best for.

    MC (applaud_loop)
Yay!

@pause for a beat

@DIANA is idle_happy AND MC is idle_happy

    MC (talk_excited)
I will make you look absolutely stunning!

INT. BLUE SCHOOL HALLWAY - DAY

    NARRATOR
The rest of the school day was pretty uneventful.

@transition fade out black in 1

}
elif (makeover) {

And do you add in the changes on the second choice branch?

Yes, I don’t know why it’s not working… There’s no errors in my script.

Did it work once? In the beginning
