whenever someone touches me I get hella triggered, so I’ve put off relationships for now. noo I totally hate when people do that! or when they say “it happened 3 years ago. you need to move on” like no it happened 3 years ago but you don’t just move on from shit like that

Me: Lisen, no matter how many years passed and how old you are, you’re still going to remmeber your past trauma. If someone touches you, YOU MOVE AWAY FROM THEM. Hell, pepper spray they butts, or kick them in the balls. Fight back. It triggers me, and make me feel uncomfortable.

yes! I still cry every night because my rapist was one of my favourite teachers, and he got away scot free because I was too much of a coward to say anything. but just because it happened 3 years ago doesn’t mean I’m over it. im still trying to recover and people should allow me to recover
