Well as the tittle says, let’s see what is the scariest or strangest thing that has ever happened to you, that can’t be explained.
For me, I would have to say sleep paralysis. I honestly don’t know if it was that or something else. Because when it occurred, it felt as if something was sitting on my chest holding me down. I was absolutely terrified. But just as fast as it came on, it was gone. Though to me, it felt way longer then it actually lasted.
My friend and I went to this ice cream/ fast food place we always go to in the summer. (Our town is 2500 people so it’s one of the only places to eat in our tiny town) And so we were eating our ice cream out side as you would, and these two creepy guys came and sat 2 tables down from us and kept looking at us. I was sitting so if I just looked straight they were in my line of sight but my friend had her back to them
Basically, we took forever to finish our ice cream cause we were just talking forever, but these two guys had gotten into their pickup it was a really gross, old, blue car and had been in it for like the longest time. Then, when we got on our bikes and were riding out of the parking lot, “Coincidentally” they just happen to leave at the same time.
We noticed but were just like “ well that’s kinda creepy but whatever” but then they proceeded to follow us around the block or two slowly, but eventually sped off in the other direction for some reason.
I took a picture of them sitting at the table if anyone would want to see it but?
i thought someone had broken into my house and i ran into my closet and texted my friend. she appeared outside my house and i went to hers… it was my family that was there but i still was scared and started crying.
tbh all my weird things that happen are in my dreams–
another time was when i was home alone and someone started ringing on my doorbell and knocking really loudly. then my dad texted me to not open the door for anyone just 1 minute after it happened. soo then the same thing happened last year… but it was my mom…
I was on a little vacation with my boyfriend in my apartment at this famous ski resort and we decided to go out and have dinner somewhere since we just arrived and had no food in the apartment. So our plan was to eat and then go to the shop and buy some food for tomorrow. The keys to my apartment are huge so there’s no way we could’ve lost them or dropped them somewhere without hearing it. But keep in mind there was aaaa lot of snow and it was dark so everything is possible. So, my bf locks the door and I and him remember him putting the keys in his pocket; he also said “I’ll put them in my pocket because I always keep my keys here, it’s the safest place.” When he was doing that I kept thinking (but never actually saying it) “Don’t put them in your pocket you’ll lose them. It’s better if they are in my backpack.”
So he puts them in his pocket and we go out to eat and shop… Fast forward to 3 hours later. We go back to the apartment and when he went to grab the keys they weren’t there. His inside pocket was empty. They are gone. So of course I went into full panic mode not knowing what to do. I didn’t check if they are in my bag because we both clearly remember they were in his pocket so he goes back to the places we’ve been looking for the keys. While I’m in front of our apartment having a legit panic attack and this goes on for almost an hour. When I calm down a bit I check my backpack just in case and the keys were there…
How? We still don’t know.
Once we got back in we were just sitting for an hour trying to remember how they ended up there. And they were in this part of my backpack that I never use! And I never for one moment opened my backpack. Not in the restaurant not in the shop. Never.
We’re still confused lol
I have had a lot of weird dreams myself. Most the time I don’t remember my dreams. But every now and then I do. Sometimes they can be pretty funny, and sometimes pretty down right scary.
A few days ago, I went grocery shopping - late because I had other errands. When we ( my youngest and I) finished, it had already gotten dark (&of course the only parking that was available on our arrival was a bit of a walk from the shop.). As we are walking through the parking lot, three guys started walking behind us. I sped up, thinking maybe they were walking so slowly because I was…then they sped up and I heard one say, “yeah, her.” I don’t usually have my pistol on me- but as my husband is out of town- it makes me feel safer. So, I turned around, unholstered my pistol and said “me or you, bro”. and they ran off and jumped into a car and sped out.
There have been reports close to my town about women being kidnapped from parking lots. I would never have used my gun as a threat… but I had my child with me and I’ll be d*mned if I’m going to let anything happen to my kids.
That is pretty scary. It’s good to hear nothing happened to you two. It’s always important to be able to protect yourself. Especially since there is a lot of sick people out there now days. Better safe then sorry.
Exactly. I am from a military family. So, I learned about guns and gun safety early on. I would never point my gun at anyone I didn’t intend to harm. I just took it out of the holster where they could see it in my hands.
Always be aware of your surroundings, especially at night. Nothing is more important to me than protecting my family.
I’ve got one that happened very recently, it’s not creepy like mysterious, and there was no real danger, it just made me more anxious than I’ve ever felt.
My parents went on a week-long vacation to Cuba with some of their colleagues, a medium-sized group. I was a little stressed as they were getting ready to go, thinking about having to make dinner for my siblings, coordinate their after-school activities, doctor’s check-ups, possible snow days… all while keeping up with my job (you know, things parents have to manage on the daily). So my thoughts were mostly on my own troubles at that point.
The house was abuzz as my parents were packing, giving me some last-minute instructions about how to make cabbage rolls in the crockpot without them turning to rubber, and Mom hands me a paper and says: “I’ll just leave this with you.”
It was…
…a hand-written will, just in case they both died while they were out of the country.
It was just one page, light on details, transferring all assets to me as well as custody of my siblings.
I made a face like:
My anxiety: “OoOoOoOoOohhhh, I hadn’t thought of that, let’s run through a few scenarios, shaaaaaaaaaaall weeeeee?”
Me: “Pls no ”
(Ofc they came back happy and rested and sunburned to find that I’d managed everything fine lol).
Oh my Lord. To be honest, that sounds like something my mom would do. She has such a bad habit of making things ackward. For example, at a funeral, someone put their hand on her shoulder. Well said hand was cold, so she yells eww your dead, right in the middle of the funeral.
Wow that’s kind of strange. Maybe they fell out of your boyfriend’s pocket and some random stranger quietly slipped them back into your backpack. Now that would just have been weird tho
