Script Error - Not allowing me to use animations

I don’t know why it does this but the animation that I want my character to do tells me that it doesn’t recognize it as a character?

For example
NARRATOR (talk_gossip).
“Do you want to add talk_gossip as a new character?”

I’m completely new to writing on episode so coding is something I pray I’ll understand and get better at.

It would really help me a lot if you know what I’m doing wrong or if there’s a bug.

You can’t add animations to the NARRATOR. The NARRATOR isn’t a character.

you need to give the character a different script name, like NARRA, then set the display name to be NARRATOR. otherwise, the program will think that when NARRATOR speaks, it’s the built-in narrator.
