what do you mean just use the character name in my script?? When i put LOLA in for the pick your name part and dressing. it worked but then on my next scene i put LOLA again but in the preview place it just shows as LOLA not the character that other people chose the name for

I dont know what to type when you want the main character to speak that the readers named. I dont know what the readers named the character so i dont know what to type please help me
YOu just keep using the characterâs script name. What hte reader chooses has nothing to do with what you type in the script. A character has a SCRIPT name and a DISPLAY name. THe script name is what you use in your SCRIPT. Their display name is what the readers choose and it only shows on top of speechbubbles.
But whe i kept using LOLA, it keeps saying lola and Dressing up like her soooo⊠im confused

Hi! Iâve been running into a couple of errors lately. Iâm not sure how to fix them. I have problems with my backgrounds, for some reason it keeps saying it doesnât exist. I would refresh and everything. I even deleted all my backgrounds and added completely brand new ones, I still run into the same problem.
I keep getting the error "Unexpected BLOCK_BEGIN: { ". I know youâve helped others with this one, but Iâm trying to just preview my story from the beginning, and there arenât choices yet in the story. Do I have to wait to preview the story until I have choices or is there a different way to do this?

Can you post a sceenshot of your script? When you get the error saying a background doesnât exist, it means that thereâs an error right before or after the background name.

Just add more after the background. The error message is telling you that you cannot end the episode with just a background name. Continue writing your script, so add dialogue, or place a character, or pause, anything.
An error saying âThe label " mouthColor0â does not exist" keeps coming up. What do I do because I pretty sure it does
Did you accidentally delete the label mouthColor0?
No, Iâm using a customization template and all I changed was the name of the character.
