1. He was exposed for doing racist videos (black face + the n word)
2. He said the t word (slur against trans people)
3. He was exposed for being a pedophile
4. Him and Jeffree were exposed for being manipulative.
He is a big part of YouTube but now I think he needs to be shut down and called out for his problematic behavior.

He recently made an apology video be provided background information (which doesn’t justify what he did in my opinion, but to me, the apology meant a lot to me). It wasn’t only an apology video, but it was also him owning up to things and admitting that he knows he deserves to be banned from YouTube. I think he’s a good person who has done many bad things. Some don’t accept that apology, and that’s perfectly alright, as he did indeed do many horrible things that have hurt many. I think he has actually learned from that and is truly sorry. But that’s just what I see, at least.
I used to be homophobic, as I was in a religious environment with other homophobic teachers and people. But I learned from that, and now I’m accepting of the LGBTQ+.
The community knew that he did black face and racist and p*do jokes yet when people tried to speak about it they said that “they should just move on because it happened years ago”. Now that Shane hurt James Charles they bring up this discussion to show how bad he is? Where was this energy when the people hurt were the black community? That’s why I don’t watch beauty gurus anymore 
Yeah he did some questionable things…I wasn’t really fan of him even before this whole drama happened.

I’ve known about Shane since 2012, but I never watched any of his videos. Even his popular “documentaries”. I never bothered to check any of his yt channels. I just had this weird feeling about him,that he is not “all there” and that he is not very sincere. Especially when he basically scammed the whole beauty community, I just never believed anything he said,and I had this uneasy feeling about him.
Now when he got exposed, I’m soooo not surprised 
It all makes sense now. Note to self, gut feeling doesn’t lie 
I guess everyone kept thinking it was dark humour and that he’s just not capable of being a bad person but since the blm movement is going on, people took the chance to properly expose him and get him off YouTube like he deserves.
